Easter Fundraising Campaign - Nourishing Change
Our Easter meal is happening on April 4 and the chefs of Our Place are busy making plans for a nourishing, comforting lunch of turkey with all the fixings. The good news is it’s not too late to make an impact on the lives of those we serve this Easter.
Hundreds could join us for this special meal thanks to your help. We will be grateful to you for giving folk a chance to be together to enjoy a meal served with dignity and hope.
Nourish change in the lives of those facing poverty and homelessness today. Thank you for being a part of our caring community at Our Place.

Sponsor a Community Meal
We are excited to welcome you to Sponsor a Meal to Our Place!
You can upgrade a basic breakfast of porridge to a fulfilling meal of proteins containing eggs and bacon when you or your group sponsor a meal, starting at $575 Lunch and dinner sponsorships available as well. (Please note, meal sponsorships were increased by $75 to reflect drastically rising food costs.)
Our Place serves over 1,200 of meals per day and your sponsorship ensures continued support for the most vulnerable citizens of Greater Victoria.

Update: We can now invite groups of up to 5 people back in to Our Place to serve a meal. Contact us to find our more about this great team-building opportunity.
Become a Monthly Donor
Our Place Society’s Circle of Love monthly donors are our partners in the truest sense of the word. Each month, Circle of Love donors provide consistent, invaluable support, each and every day of the year.
When you become a monthly donor at Our Place Society you will:

Give a Gift in Your Will
Naming Our Place Society as a beneficiary in your will is easy, and it is just one way that you can include Our Place Society in your estate planning. Give a Gift of Securities
We gratefully accept donations of publicly listed securities such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. This is a very tax-efficient way to help nourish those in need because the Canada Revenue Agency does not tax capital gains on publicly-listed securities which are donated directly to a registered charity (rather than first being sold). In addition, you will receive a tax receipt for the full value of your donation when the securities are transferred. Please follow the steps outlined on this form. Give a Gift in Honour
Making a donation in honour of someone special is a meaningful way to pay tribute to and celebrate family, friends, and loved ones. We can acknowledge your gift with an e-card or letter to the person or family you’re honouring.
You can give donations in lieu of birthday or holiday gifts, or for any other special occasion. Or you can simply because you know that special someone is just as compassionate about giving back to those most vulnerable in our community.

Donate Needed Items
We are grateful for your thoughtful consideration of donating items to Our Place Society!
Instead of purchasing new items to donate, will you consider gift cards or the equivalent cost of the items through our online donation form? Alternatively, we are happy to accept your call on our Donor Hot Line at 250-940-5060. Donating gift cards or cash will allow us to maximize the impact of your generosity by purchasing the items that are most needed at bulk discounts. Please use the ‘Other’ checkbox and ‘Comments’ section to provide more than one gift.

Support the Dandelion Outreach Program
Donations to the Dandelion Outreach Program of Our Place Society honours the legacy of Rev. Al Tysick and his faithful team over the past decade.

Support the Hope Fund
Even with everything we do – meals, programs, housing assistance, medical referrals, etc. – there are some individual situations we aren’t able to cover with our budget. You can prevent someone from falling through the cracks with a donation to the Hope Fund which provides emergency funding such as work clothes, hydro bills, rents, and over the counter medications. Donate a Car
Donate A Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Our Place Society. They provide free towing in many areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you Donate your RV, boat, motorcycle or other vehicle to Our Place Society through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction depending on its condition, age and location. Donate A Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for your Charity to benefit. After your Vehicle Donation is complete, Our Place Society will send you a tax receipt within 45 days!
