Donations and Transactions

Donations are accepted in both U.S. and Canadian dollars. A Canadian tax receipt will be issued. All transactions are billed in Canadian dollars.

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not rent, sell or trade your information to other organizations, parties or mailing lists. Any personal information that you provide to us while on our website or in other communications with Our Place Society will be kept strictly confidential and used only to keep you up to date about our work, to deliver tax receipts and to send you other information that you have requested. However, we reserve the right to disclose personal information as required by law. From time to time we may make changes to this privacy policy, and we encourage you to review this policy periodically for updates.

Refunds

Events: All requests for refunds must be received in writing. To receive a full refund, you must notify Our Place Society at least 31 days in advance of the event. A 50 percent refund will be made for cancellations received 21 to 31 days in advance of the event. No refunds are available for cancellations received one to 20 days prior to or after the conference or for “no shows.”

Donations: No refunds can be issued for donations once a tax receipt has been issued.
