Established in 2005 through an alliance of the Open Door Society and the Upper Room Society, the Our Place Society is located in downtown Victoria in a 40,000 square foot purpose built Community Drop-In Centre, equipped with a commercial kitchen and dining facilities and 45 single occupancy transitional housing units. The Our Place Society’s mission is to offer a sense of belonging to Greater Victoria’s most vulnerable citizens, providing a home and hope through living, sharing, learning and worshipping together. Our Place Society encompasses the values of Hope, Belonging, Safety and Team Work.
