Volunteers

Volunteers: Volunteers are an essential part of Our Place! We have opportunities for volunteers in all of our program areas.

Drop-in Centre
Our drop-in centre requires volunteers to help with preparing coffee and tea and serving refreshments at our nutrition bar, as well as visiting with our family members.

Dining Room
Volunteers in our dining room are primarily involved in preparing and serving our meals and with clean-up. We serve lunch and supper from Monday to Friday.

Current “Hot” Volunteer Opportunities
In addition to our ongoing efforts to recruit volunteers for the dining room and drop-in centre, we are also currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:

Bread Pick-up
Hygiene Area
Clothing Room
Reception
Lending Library
Computer Lab

Special Events
We have periodic special events that volunteers are needed for. Please check our news page for more details.
