Eat, drink, and empower women in recovery.
On September 21, eight of Victoria’s top chefs and 250 of the regions business and community leaders are coming together for the 10th annual Hungry Hearts gala. An elevated culinary competition and Our Place fundraiser, this Hungry Hearts is a pivotal opportunity to break the cycle of addiction for the women of Vancouver Island.
Our Place is opening the first long-term women’s addiction recovery community on Vancouver Island. This ground-breaking initiative is slated to open this winter at the New Roads Therapeutic Recovery Community. All funds raised at Hungry Hearts 2024 will directly support this life changing and life saving support for the most vulnerable people in society- women battling addiction.
