With your help, we serve over half a million nourishing meals every year and provide access to vital services like hot showers, clean clothing, medical care, wellness programs, and recovery support at our downtown community centre.
Across seven housing sites, we provide shelter and stability for more than 500 people, from transitional spaces to long-term supportive housing. And through our New Roads Therapeutic Recovery Community, individuals overcoming substance use are finding healing, structure, and the path to lasting transformation.

Donor Advised Funds
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are a powerful way to support Our Place Society with flexibility and ease. By directing your DAF contributions to us, you can help provide essential services and support for those experiencing homelessness and poverty. We ensure your funds are managed transparently and wisely, maximizing the benefit to our community. Partner with us through your DAF to create lasting change.
Securities
We gratefully accept donations of publicly listed securities such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. This is a very tax-efficient way to help nourish those in need because the Canada Revenue Agency does not tax capital gains on publicly listed securities which are donated directly to a registered charity (rather than first being sold). In addition, you will receive a tax receipt for the full value of your donation when the securities are transferred.
