Nourish Dignity

Living on the streets has a profound impact on a person’s self-worth and sense of dignity, but that trauma can be softened with the kind, supportive attention they receive from Our Place workers. This care would not be possible without you.

Our Place employees act as caseworkers, helping our most vulnerable neighbours navigate systems and get them the care they need to help them get back on their feet again. Your donations mean that the residents in our 8 housing sites are able to receive a range of services including assistance obtaining ID, clothing, foot care, a library, computer station, housing outreach, spiritual care, connections to health and counselling support, and non-judgmental, listening ears — and a pathway to lasting change.

Your generosity translates to life-changing programs and services:

  • $50 to coordinate a one-hour foot care clinic
  • $100 for four hours of outreach support
  • $250 for a month of spiritual care visits
  • $500 for a computer station in a shelter

You can make this summer one of hope and transformation. Please consider joining us once on this journey of healing and restoring dignity to hundreds of people in need.

Thank you for being a part of our caring community at Our Place.
