In this time of COVID-19, Fentanyl poisonings, and increased homelessness, the need for front-line medical care is more important than ever.
Our Place takes over operation of BC Housing’s new acquisition, the Comfort Inn on Blanshard, and moves 63 people into temporary homes. The partnership with BC Housing, Island Health, Cool-Aid Society, Umbrella Society and Aids Vancouver Island will provide room, meals, overdose prevention, medical services, storage, and more.
